Our Client works within the Financial Services domain, and is based in Northampton.
About this role
The ability to provide highly valuable insights and data analytics to customers is a crucial part of our Clients business, and it’s an area that our Client is investing heavily in. As such, Key Partnership is delighted to be supporting our Client in the recruitment of a PowerBI Developer.
We’re after a true PoweBI whiz who has a clear passion, skill and enthusiasm towards PowerBI. This role will also get the opportunity to work with new, emerging tech solutions such as MS Fabric & Power Automate.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Craft insightful, compelling PowerBI dashboards that not only visualise data, but also tell a story
- Manage data with tools such as Microsoft Excel
- Adhere to data integrity policies to maintain the highest level of data quality
- Lead the design and development of robust reports by gathering, arranging and analysing data sets
- Handle feature and change requests and data troubleshooting
- Developing greenfield reporting as well as maintenance of integrated reporting solutions across a range of apps
- Maintain various database structures
- Manage report generation and data extraction via T-SQL queries
- Carry out requirement gathering & analysis with stakeholders
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience with PowerBI
- Strong Excel Skills (or at least the ability to become advanced in Excel quickly)
- Experienced with the SQL Server Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) etc
- Knowledge of MS Fabric would be advantageous
- Thrives in a sociable team environment, working with a diverse goup of people
