ABOUT THIS ROLE

Since opening their doors in 1992, Dancerace’s software has maintained an unbroken record of reliability, never causing a single day of disruption for customers. Dancerace’s software is extremely robust, with the QA Team playing a critical role in achieving exceptionally high reliability levels.   

To support their growth, we’re delighted to be recruiting a QA Engineer to form part of Dancerace’s Quality Assurance Team. This is a brand-new role, joining a team of 5 QA’s that work with a team of around 10 Software Engineers. The QA Team at Dancerace carries out both Manual & Automated Testing using Cypress.

This new position will provide additional cover for Dancerace’s Automation Testing efforts, so it’s critical that the successful candidate coming into this role has a strong foundation in automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Cypress.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA
• Experience working in SaaS/Financial Services
• Appreciation for testing highly dependent on software
• Hands-on experience with Automation Testing using tools like Cypress
• Solid Manual Testing skills (Regression Testing, API Testing, UAT, E2E Testing Etc)
• A self-starter who can take accountability over projects
• ISTQB Certifications 
• A sense of humour with the ability to have fun whilst producing excellent results!

WORKING ARRANGEMENT & BENEFITS

This role is primarily remote, but Dancerace do ask that everyone joins their company town hall meetings once a quarter in Bath. These are fun, interactive days at the office where the company comes together to celebrate successes, identify weaknesses and areas for improvement, and discuss plans for the next quarter. The town halls involve team lunch buffets, socials and quizzes. It’s a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and stay connected.
